BAW DISABLED BAW

So what if people disable comments? Sure, some people may abuse the privilege, but it is there for a reason. I might prefer sometimes for someone to have allowed comments on something, but there's no point in whining about it.

I'm sorry, but the majority of people who seem to be against it are just reeking of "baw they don't allow me to attack their opinions!"

You might be saying "but they don't want to defend themselves!" Isn't that was the artist comments are for, to explain their point of view? Not everyone has the time to respond to all the comments a certain stamp or piece of art, nor does everyone want to stir up drama. I missed the memo when stopping drama became a bad thing.

Civil disagreeing isn't the problem. The problems that result from allowing comments on certain things are flamers and those who immediately shoot down any opinion that disagrees with their own as wrong and start to personally attack and insult the person who made it. People want to state their opinions without being ganged upon by self righteous idiots.
Sometimes it's better to stop the drama before it starts.

What about the stamps that have had lots of comments but then are later disabled due to extreme amounts of flaming and insanity? When there's a fire, you put it out.

So stop looking down on those that disable comments, just because they're blocking your attempts to preach your opinion because you can't stand someone else having a different one.
