Lack of Creativity

This stamp is for those that are tired of the least imaginative people complaining about those that don’t praise clichés.

Being creative means thinking outside of the box, coming up with new ideas that haven’t been done before, or putting a new twist on it. Notice how the people who defend cliché characters, and bad story writing exhibit those same clichés in their own work? They preach about creativity, but exhibit none. They denounce those that do not support the same crap over and over again, because they “don’t have imagination” because apparently you can only have imagination when you want clichés and the same plot devices over and over in a story.

Making characters or stories is not an easy process, and that is why many writers get annoyed by the people who made 500 characters and 500 stories that have little to no substance to them, and then preach about how imaginative they are and that everyone who doesn’t support their ideas or labels them as clichés is ‘restricting’ creativity. The actual definition of creativity is coming up with unique ideas, not pulling the same crap over and over again. Sorry, but many of your ideas have been seen a million times, and with no unique take on them at least, it’s nothing of interest to those that want to find well-rounded characters and interesting plotlines.

Of course, those that support artists like mentioned above usually have the same problems.

If you want to have cliché stories, characters, or to enjoy media like that, then at least stop roping in everyone else as not being as creatively ‘enlightened’ as you are because they don’t support what you do.
