Oh the irony

I love how the people who call others out to be self righteous douchebags are bigger hyprocrites than they'd like to admit. Not to mention that they loooove to generalize.

Since when did having an opinion on a subject make someone self-righteous? Since when did an opinion require you to start shoving your views onto someone else?

<sub>This can be a stamp for most everything, but I had the religious versus the nonreligious in mind. I've seen a ton of bashing on those who may be spiritual or have beliefs grounded somewhat in that and it's ridiculous to think that people will hold themselves as open minded when they practice intolerance.

I've also seen plenty religious people bash those who are not, which is also ridiculous. It is possible to disagree without hating.</sub>

So don't get all pissy about people shoving beliefs down your throat when you're doing the same thing back. Replying to opposing viewpoints in a condescending way (or just shooting the person down basically) just because you don't agree with them only makes you look like an asshole. And no, assholes aren't cool, like the internet would have you believe.

Don't push and don't shove. I don't, and you shouldn't.
